Efforts launched in the spring, by sharing the message that Patrón was the only tequila that could perfect any margarita. The program raised awareness and drove trial with evocative digital and social initiatives, as well as in-store, OOH and restaurant/bar promotional tie-ins. These efforts culminated in a series of all-star mixology events to crown the “Margarita of the Year”. Patrón solidified its place as America’s #1 tequila and created a PR buzz that drove sales and opened new on-premise accounts.
